Surprising thing in that piece is Catalan preferring Matty Smith to Drinkwater

Don't think that they prefer Smith but they signed him months ago before Drinkwater was drafted in as a temporary solution. At the time the cats were down the bottom of the table and to be fair Drinkwater has exceeded expectations. Certainly much better than he was at Leigh the year before. Now rumoured to be going to Leeds which asks the question of what to do with myler. Surely too similar to play together?

Would you take either Walker or Goulding and move Peanut to centre?

I'd take him but it probably means us losing an overseas player to accommodate him particularly if we're still shopping around for a centre.

I thought Lolohea was going to be their centre.

Walker at 1, Lolohea at left centre, Myler at 6 and Drinkwater at 7?

They've spent marquee money on a player who is utility. It didn't make much sense to get a 6 and then push out another player into an unfamiliar role.

Lolohea/walker
Briscoe
Watkins
Moon/sutcliffe
Briscoe?
Myler/lolohea
Drinkwater
Signleton
Parcell
Cuthbertson
Ferres
Keinhorst
Ward

Rough guess, still needs a lot of work that lineup

Moon is leaving and so is Keinhorst.

Think ikahihifo is a class forward and offers impact, but do we have that in Clark? At the minute a cheaper option. Would be a great addition, especially if the Massey to torronto has any mileage.

No idea but I would have thought that we're set fair for forwards, the quota and cap space has to go on a good full back, centre, or if DP is going with minikin at centre, winger.
Personally I'm more than happy with PM at full back so for me our last quota spot has to be a decent three quarter. If there's not much cap space left give Jy another year and keep a bit of cash in reserve...
