Saints v Wire

Post by Danny Boy » 02 Oct 2018, 21:19

Hoping for a Warrington win, given our record v Saints

St Helens 19: Lomax, Makinson, Morgan, Percival, Fages, Roby, Amor, Taia, Wilkin, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Douglas, Knowles, Thompson, Peyroux, Richardson, Grace, Lees, Ashworth, Barba.

Warrington 19: Atkins, Brown, Charnley, Clark, Cooper, Goodwin, Hill, Hughes, G King, T King, Lineham, Livett, Murdoch-Masila, Patton, Philbin, Ratchford, Roberts, Thompson, Westwood.

Two pretty strong squads, hope they smash each other once again!

No pressure on Wire, all the pressure on the runaway leaders.

Saints can't really win, should be theirs to lose, which is always a recipe for disaster. However, in this case, Saints easy, 2 clear scores.

Never let a Wire fan kid you that they're a big club, they've only managed to sell around 2,000 tickets so far. For a game 12 miles away.

I'd guess that most wire fans will be watching in the pub and fearing the worst. Not a prediction BTW, semi football can go either way.

Bet the player's regret listening to the higher powers now not celebrating it. What a bunch of idiot's.

At least we got to final before we choked!

We'll show them how to celebrate if we win the grand final.

Now p**s off home Barba without a grand final winner's ring :-({|=

So many players and nominations for Man of steel and Dream team and not even in Grand Final

Just read a statistic

How many major finals have Saints been in over the last seven years....

One

Goes to show that they should grasp any success and enjoy the moment - nothing is guaranteed in sport.

Not celebrating and now losing. Imagine if that's the highest level you play at and that was your only silverware. You'd be gutted.
