Re: Toronto
If thats true then anyone would go for that amount of money but how much would count on the cap?
Re: Toronto
£150,000 would could on the cap each seasonBolton-tiger wrote:If thats true then anyone would go for that amount of money but how much would count on the cap?

If toronto wants to spend that on a player hoping it will increase attendances i think they are clearly mistaken.might aswell gift toronto SL status now if they pull this off.i know its the rule and everyone has the same chance to do it but i think thats just taking the p**s abit 5 million and only 150k counting
Re: Toronto
It’s nearly have the 5 million in Stirling but that’s still monster money. Raj would have to win some bets for wakie to afford that.Bolton-tiger wrote:Fumper27 wrote:£150,000 would could on the cap each seasonBolton-tiger wrote:If thats true then anyone would go for that amount of money but how much would count on the cap?

They get better attendances than all the championship and some super league teamsBolton-tiger wrote:Fumper27 wrote:£150,000 would could on the cap each seasonBolton-tiger wrote:If thats true then anyone would go for that amount of money but how much would count on the cap?

Re: Toronto
We should be embracing the fact that at least some clubs are using the marquee rule. It brings fans to the game and more away fans to spend money with us.
I look forward to us doing it in the future.

Re: Toronto
We will never see a player of say Sonny Bill Williams calibre play at Cas, so the next best thing is for him to play for the opposition. I've been lucky enough to see him play live in the NRL, he's box office, would be a spectacle to see him down the lane.
