How many breaches constitutes cheating. It is a regular occurance but is just brushed under the carpet. The sport is a laughing stock. They lied to break the live cap.

Shame on you rfl.

Now theres a surprise....not
Totally predictable. Any other club, and it would have been at least 12 points and no appeal allowed.

Got poor Widnes with -12 because of greedy people running the club and then there's pie eaters cheating year after year.

What a joke, pays to be a cheat then?

The financial penalty is an irrelevance and is overshadowed by the reward for being crowned Champions.
This is at least the third time they have breached the cap.
On two occasions they have received no punishment on the field.
It could be easily argued that the penalty for breaches do not constitute a deterrent.
The sport's governing body continues to make a mockery of the sport they proport to promote.
Rugby League certainly doesn't need other's to make it look foolish we have our own self elected, highly paid buffoons at Red Hall to see to that.
The last time Wigan cheated we were relegated.
Widnes already impoverished get 12 points deducted for incompetence or mismanagement, punishments do not appear to fit the crime.
They highlight the administrative incompetence of the ruling body.
No doubt Wigan will do it again and have a new alibi to soften an already soft punishment.
Maybe it's time for the clubs to have a vote of no confidence in the Red Hall encumbents. Though don't let Wigan count the votes, not too good with numbers.

Absolute joke, the RLF have no back bone n back down to the big clubs n bully the little ones. No consistency at all

Salary cap should have a fixed penalty system in place before a balls kicked so everyone knows if u go over by a minor amount its - 2pts if u go over by more its - 4pts n if you have taken plss and ignored the cap its - 6pts
