No-fault stand down

Post by mdean » 07 Mar 2019, 07:55

Been reading about no-fault stand down in Aus and for them with the profile of their players, I think it is a good step.

Granted there is an element of guilty until proven innocent in there, but the no fault part, pending charges/investigation feels right if you are serious about cleaning the image of your game.

We are not ready here, clubs can't afford to pay stars all year for example until an investigation is over and stand them down - I know every argument doesn't boil down to money, but this does.
Prem football over here though, that would be interesting.
