2 Wigan players caught drink driving and with class A drugs.
Apparently it’s not hardaker.
One is a first team regular squad player other a youngster.
I do have names but not releasing them, just go have a look around social media someone as put them on there.
Like I say if it’s a load of bull who ever put names out could be hearing from a lawyer ASAP.
It's the players who will probably need a lawyer, does appear to be true aswell, I'm assuming the names you've heard are the ones I've heard

Seems like Wigan are in a bit of a mess this year!
Couldn't have happened to a nicer club :-"

We can't consider that Wigan are unique, interestingly when you look at our problems in Rugby League (potentially and allegedly) I think if you look back 15-20 years in football, there is a mirror effect.
Profile improves, financial situation improves and some new problems arise. 20 years ago, some players had drinking and gambling issues, it is societal not specifically Rugby League.

That being said, I am pretty convinced that some clubs should invest the small amount of money testing all their players, at every level regularly, it will mark them out as a brand. Right through PDRL, Womens, Juniors and elite squad. I would like to see that happen.

Brian Carney taking the moral high ground think if you asked one or two at the gold coast titans about him disgrace is a word they'd probably use as well

To be fair he is probably the reason we got money of snake for snake. I’d forgotten about Carmel retiring from rugby to go play union.

Seemed inevitable after the six nations comments.

Interested to see who ends up there, plenty of the season to go still but bound to have an effect in the playing squad, I think if they don't have a clear pathway to next season and people in place, players will be able to talk to other clubs.
Right now, there is no continuity so if you are out of contract, they can't be clear who will be your boss next season.

I am not sure who else in SL would go there, you can't win. If you win a trophy every year, that is what is expected (rightly or wrongly there). Not sure why you would bother.

Of that list, who would go there?!
Lam's family are still in Aus, this is a one year gig I read. Paul Deacon is a good shout, not sure they would go with someone without top level experience, same with Demitriou. McNamara would go wherever I suppose.

For me, the easy choice would be Ian Watson. Done a fab job at Salford, brought on some young players such as Evalds. Maybe seen as a cheap option but someone who knows the league, lives down the road.

But they'll probably fly someone from the NRL across. There'll be an assistant who wants a gig.

Think it is probably a choice between Betts and Lam (if they want it) and possibly Tony Smith, if he's remotely interested in returning to coaching. Not so sure that Wigan are as flush with cash as they always were, to be able to raid other clubs for their coaching staff.

I agree with you Hudds, Betts, Lam or any other of the UK based names I don't think would be appeasing given where they are in the table, so probably end up going abroad, perhaps with Betts or Deacon in the staff too.

I do know Deacon is very highly educated in, and well thought of across sports coaching for what that is worth.
