Rangi Chase
Last time the question was asked I wasn’t in favour of giving him another go.
But our deficiencies in attack are clear to see. The bloke has something we are missing - creativity and threat. You don’t lose those attributes.

Re: Rangi Chase
No. The last thing we need are further disruptive influences.
The bloke hasn’t played Super League rugby for nigh on two and half years and we don’t even know what level of fitness he’s in.
The solution and answer is out there but it isn’t this.

Re: Rangi Chase
Can’t see rangi getting back to that kind of fitness.
Out of the game 2 years now around 33.
What we need is that type of flair player.
Is there one out there.
Rangi is not the answer.

Re: Rangi Chase

Yep. At the start of the year, I wouldn’t have taken Zak back. I’d still be hesitant.flow wrote:lmao and you was the one most wanting to get rid off zak as well. how your view as changed now we have it rock bottom  can remember you saying would not have any player who has failed drug test . Likewise, at the start of the year I wouldn’t have taken Rangi back either.
But things change, and (unlike some) I’m always open to the possibility I was wrong, or that circumstances now are different to what they were at the start of the year.
From what I’ve seen dished up on the field this season, I’ve gone from thinking having Rangi back would be a bad idea to thinking how we are missing any kind of creative threat.
Would he still be SL standard? I don’t know. But there are some things that you just don’t lose - creativity, deception, unpredictability, vision and guile. If he can regain physical fitness, Rangi has these attributes in spades. And they are just what we are missing.

Thought it’d past April 1st....
Re: Rangi Chase
I’d have him, he’d be cheap and can put someone through a gap

Re: Rangi Chase
He was clearly past it when he had him last time. Out of shape. Lost his cutting edge. And now after so long out of the top level I imagine he would be a total waste of time.
Re: Rangi Chase
I have seen him in Normanton he does not look over weight whether is fitness is any were near what it should be a doubt it very much
Re: Rangi Chase
