Salford Red Devils centre Junior Sau has signed for Leigh Centurions in the Betfred Championship on a deal until the end of the 2020 campaign. 32-year-old Sau has spent six years with the Red Devils and also had a spell earlier this season with Wakefield Trinity.

Going bust one minute to splashing the cash the next, good old Leigh. Hope if the promotion push doesn’t come off for them Beaumont doesn’t get the monk on and leave them high and dry. For what it’s worth I hope they make it. I thought there fans were superb when we played them last time they were in Super league. We had a right crack with them over in Boot room for a few hours.

To think he was wanted at Cas on a deal not just for this season now he's unwanted at a club that have about 6 players registered for next year.

No wonder people question our recruitment policy.

He would have fit us well but he there must be something with him why he's getting dropped. Maybe an injury?

Not one person would’ve moaned if we’d signed Sau’u at the start of the season yet now most claim we dodged a bullet. Anyone can say “I told you so” after the event.
