Pity he hasn't progressed, looked like he could be a world beater at one time.

Re: Gadwin Signs for Wakefield
Can't say I'm gutted if I'm honest. Gadwin looked great last season but this season he was not upto the job. It speaks volumes that Powell hardly used him and he sees more than us! Don't know if Gadwins heart is in it to be honest, he goes missing when it gets tasty out there. Good luck to the guy though, he's still young!
Finally think I'm over last Saturday now, can see us signing a couple of big props! Imagine if Zak could play and we had a couple of big, nasty props coming in along with Wardle ,we would be unstoppable! I have 150% faith in Daryl to deliver us another great season and find the greatest stop gap at full back of all time (we want dorny lol), that's if we do indeed decide to keep hold of Zak!

Thats about 8 out and 2 in
We will have gone from minimal changes to needing wholesale changes again
Re: Gadwin Signs for Wakefield
Gadwin , is this true or is it some one as told me, if its not official this topic should be put in the rumour section

If true then it implies we have signed a prop/decent fb. Can't see us losing Patrick, Lynch, Zak and Springer with no one in to replace.
Re: Gadwin Signs for Wakefield
I have doubted it for a while, but the rumour about a top line forward of Burgess and Walmsley class is surely the only reason we would do something like this?

You'd hope so.Morrissey wrote:I have doubted it for a while, but the rumour about a top line forward of Burgess and Walmsley class is surely the only reason we would do something like this?
For either of those wpuld be worth it. Would definitely need some one else to step up though as we have seen how short we were at points this year in front row.
Douglas, Maher, Bustin, Clark (if they have signed) would be getting game time.

Re: Gadwin Signs for Wakefield
Michael Carter has denied this on twitter.

I've heard he's signed for Fev
Re: Gadwin Signs for Wakefield
To be honest when you look at the props who are supposedly leaving, we haven't seen much of them on the field this season. Lynchy has been a great servant to the club in his time hear, but he hasn't been able to play much this season due to injury. Patrick has been the same and has hardly played, Springer, who knows what the problem has been, when he has played he hasn't done many minutes before he was blowing, and in the semi against Saint's he didn't get on the field, we played the game using 3 subs.
Who knows we have had loads of rumors going round who we might be signing, we have some good young players coming through, and perhaps they might get a chance next season.

Incredible what we have done when you consider how limited the contributions of Springer, Patrick, Maher and to some extent Lynch.Frankas wrote:To be honest when you look at the props who are supposedly leaving, we haven't seen much of them on the field this season. Desperate for 2 props. Absolutely praying for one too quality. Hardaker situation probably means we only go for one prop and a fb.
