Providing Hock remains as good as he has been to throw some grunt into the go forward and Daryl can instil some discipline into him to keep his temper in check then that's exactly what we need - it all depends on his outlook as to whether he takes our money on a contract for a jolly rather than commit to seeing the Cas bigger picture - that's the debate on good or bad signing as he may just want to serve out his time for money rather than progress the team - thoughts please !

Hock not for me well past his sell by date , Swinton next stop for this lad, It as been said Larroyer never let us down it was only his size a bit taller and heaver he would have been a cracking super league player, GOOD LUCK KEVIN THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND EFFORT AT CAS

Larroyer was ok. But just a solid player.

I don't think I'll ever forget the introduction of the "squirrel grip" into our game. I've seen so many do the same but never get penalised, never mind a sin binning.

We've all moaned the fact we don't have a big agressive prop that can make the hard yards,a bit of Mongral to complement our free flowing rugby when the weather turns.we don't have a quota spot available and saints arnt going to let walmsley go and hull won't give us watts so if hock is the man we are looking at then I can't think of anyone else who could do the same job currently based in the super league.

Hock humongous waste of a career. Says he’s turned over a new leaf? He had so much talent he was unbelievable but as said above he was a tool...

Well it's pretty clear to me that Leigh are making more signings than we are and whilst the quality may not be the best, I'd like to think we were looking to improve our squad rather than letting it flounder.

Not impressed by our (lack of) action in the transfer market at all.

Do you really think that our coaching and leadership staff have no plan in place, and are intending to weaken us?

Have faith.

I am sure in the not so distant future some signings will be announced our coaching staff have been reported to be down under so I don't expect the signings to be announced till they return, getting back to Hock some of our fans are wanting to sign him the lad when is mind is set right is a good player, but what a penalty machine

LAST SEASON

Chase not really missed
Larroyer average at best
Lynch never played big minutes
Monaghan 4th choice winger
Million looked ok in a pre-season friendly
Holmes fair player but any better than Trueman ?
Igbinedion never got near 1st team
Patrick 7 games off the bench

Obviously Zak will be a big loss but other than him what are we worrying about ?

We are in the enviable position of having a very strong starting 17, with some good cover and plenty in the cap to bring in 3 or 4 decent players.

I think that Wardle and Lo will more than cover the loss of Larroyer and Monners so we realistically need a full back and a couple of props.

We have never been in a better position to attract quality players (standing of team, quality of play, level of support, atmosphere at WR, chance of winning silverware).

I'm sure that DP knows what he's doing, who he would like to bring in and how to approach next season.

DP may also be going to watch the World Cup to see if there's anyone worth picking up too.
