Can't believe saints got Widnes. On the basis of rivalry we should get wakey. An easy 2 points for them. Should be wire v Widnes and Wigan v saints. certainly based on finishing positions.

Us getting wire and now Leeds two years on bounce clearly shows how much we've progressed and how high we're rated

We can't complain at others getting easy matches when we were given wakey to batter for a few years

The RFL may has well just give saints a 2 point start. Really pleased we've got the Saturday night although 19:30 ko seems a bit late.

Stupid concept - needs removing from fixture list!
Could be 1st of 5 again v Leeds, maybe even 6 if we draw them in Cup!

Finally recognised. You know you have made it when you get late Saturday game at Magic. After Wigan and Wire too. Class.

I like magic weekend and particularly like it as it is. I've seen a lot of people talk about scrapping it or changing it to a 9s competition. A 9s competition I feel would be as good as scrapping it anyway, kills the competition in my eyes.

Top v 2nd then Wigan and Saints get bottom 4?

Very fair RFL.

We then see Hull get a champiobship team?

Surely Wigan v Saints and Hull v Wakey based on final placings this year would be fairer than this.

2 easy points for the usual suspects.

Fine by me. We've beaten Leeds 8 out of the last 9 and they only beat us last time because we were so awful not because they did anything special.

8 in 9 is a great record against anyone but as a so called rhino fan said to me "You take your 8 on the bounce, I will settle for just the 1" which position would you rather be in? 8 or 1?

With a far better kicking game and less errors. Scoring 24 points restricting us to 6. But apart from that what else did they do that was special?

They didn't really play to perfection though, they made a lot of mistakes, we were just the worse of the two sides

Exactly TT. I don't think we'd have beaten any SL side with the performance we put on in the GF & Leeds were no better than any other time we played them this year with the exception of the 60-odd point drubbing. Still, if people think Leeds put on some sort of stellar performance to beat us that's up to them.

1st v. 2nd
3rd v. 13th
4th v. 12th
5th v. 8th
6th v. 9th
7th v. 10th

Seems fair enough
NOT

Why not have two magic weekends, two games on saturday and two on sunday at each venue. Last 16 of the challenge cup. Play them at 25 to 30,000 venues and try to fill both venues both days.

Better than cas v leeds 6 times next year ?
