2019/20 CLUB COLOURS - INITIAL POLL RESULT
As some of us are aware, the club has been conducting a poll that involves a select number of supporters. The aim is to establish whether us fans would like the club to continue with the current colours or revert back to our more traditional based strip next season.
It's bound to result in a mixed set of views and opinions. It's clear, however, from this simple bar graph based on the first wave of completed voting, that there is already a clear preference.

An interesting one. Traditionally the colours were black and amber, so if we are going traditional it depends on whatever computer they use defining amber! I think Amber is defined as yellow/orange! So this post is no help at all, guess it depends what one prefers. I'm not sure either liquorice sweet is actually amber.

And Amber has just resigned, so I reckon we go yellow.

The one on the left reminds me of the ‘86 semi.

Would the away shirt be white, green and purple?
Re: 2019/20 CLUB COLOURS - INITIAL POLL RESULT
My preference is definitely to go Black and Amber. Even to go retro and have a home shirt similar to the late 1950s early 1960s.
I was told orange is good because it stands out well on TV but that certainly can't be said of some shirts recently eg the ones for Newcastle.

I wouldn't be too upset if we dropped Tigers altogether. Obviously we won't for marketing purposes, but i'd like to go back to Castleford RLFC and use the old Castleford coats of arms badge.

I've eaten plenty of those in the past at Bellamy's.casman wrote:Ahhhh Bellamy's Best

I’d like a return to black n Amber with white incorporated. The away colours I’d like a break from the norm and have different colours every year.

The home & away shirts with Metrel sponsorship that got ruined by the Probiz sticker are the best shirts Cas have had in a long time, I'd love for those to come back.

I'd stick with what we have now. Got used to the orange and black and would like to think it's here to stay.

This year's kit is good. We need to make a decision before they order the same colour seats for the new stadium.

Re: 2019/20 CLUB COLOURS - INITIAL POLL RESULT
Im not sure we have ever got the colour right. i think the first time i ever saw Cas play R.L was a cup game on BBC Grandstand in the mid to late 70's (when they only showed the 2nd half live) and i think we had Yellow shirts/black shorts & the socks that looked like the "amber" we play in now.
To me we have swung between custard yellow & day glow orange over the years. Somewhere between the two colours and we might get an amber shade most can agree on!
