No further punishment after being put on report after taking out Jy Hitchcox from the kick.

I am a bit disappointed with this decision, thoughts?

I do not see any difference for punishment when a player gets 10 mins for crush tackles a la Cook and Isa who should also have got the same punishment - they are equally as dangerous ! Rulings should be looked at !

Interesting also that Crusher Cook as escaped any further punishment, earlier in season these sort of tackles were getting a couple of games on the sidelines .

Isa should have got 10 mins at the time, what happens after doesn't help us in any way.

At the end of the day Willie Isa as made contact whilst in the air and even rotated Jy's legs forcing him to land on his back, so this should have been at least a 2 match ban very disappointed wonder if the same result would have been if 1 of our players did that to Wigan players I bet not, Sam Tomkins would have made sure of that.

It looked far from deliberate or malicious. But it was dangerous contact and should of been more then a caution. .

Players have been getting banned all season for putting players into dangerous positions.

Willie Isa could have actually killed Hitchcox and he gets a caution.

Bet Jy Tweeting about what a great bloke Isa is factored into the decision to go with just a caution.

This kind of tactic has been creeping into the game this season. Players fielding kicks have zero protection from the referees at the moment & the attacking players are well aware of this. All to often I’m seeing players who have no genuine intent on claiming the ball, running into &/or causing players to fear for their safety in the hope they will knock on or not contest the ball. The lack of action by a review panel confirms my fears in my opinion.

What grinds my gears is that some players get penalised, some sinbinned, some banned and done no case no case to answer. One rule one result, simple.
