the first match shown last night Widnes V London unearthed some very good players i thought numbers 6+15 for London and the Widnes fullback would not go amiss in a CAS shirt, Thoughts please

decent players and a good prospect for Widnes, only one game though. I'm sure Steve Nash had one good game at some point..

In a game that was Championship level and Championship class, I don’t think anyone stands out. Had one side destroyed the other I think it would have been different. Widnes players don’t look bothered, or very few do I should say.

Said Mark Ioane 2 yrs ago, real handful, Junior Kiwi, play 2nd row or prop, would be a great signing.

i dont think ive seen a team with less fight in them than this widnes side...id try and bring mcdermott in at least he might instill some pride in playing for the shirt

Ione is class. And so is sammut on his day.

Widnes have some quality in finn, hansen hauraki and Houston but
Ultimately not good enough for us but should be beating London.

finns developed a quality lob pass to the opposition winger il give him that ,blokes like inu hauraki houston are exactly what you dont need in your side when backs up against wall

Never been a fan or rated Houston. Isn't he leaving at the end of the season?
