This vague ballot is now open to multiple interpretations but ultimately, if we legally leave the EU the ballot result has been upheld, even if it does come with baggage. This is what should have been made clearer during the ballot but the ballot questions were a typical governmental fudge and these never achieve anything.

I firmly remain under the belief we should have kept our seat at the EU table and driven change for the benefit of all its member states. The opportunity to undermine the German state who is in a position of no strength at the moment would have been the ideal opportunity to seek fairer funding deals, reduce bureaucracy and amend the various common policies on food, agriculture and fishing.

Unfortunately we've thrown our teddy out of the cot and will be left to play by rules we have no input on. Something I'm sure no one voted for.

Whats the difference about voting "to "Remain in the EU" or voting out - it's the same ?????

We don't need EU rules, we will be sovereign to do exactly what we want - why stay in the EU arguing the toss over years and years of red tape that they have tied us up in !!!

We don't need to undermine anyone - we would be FREE !! Let them wallow in their antiquated rules and then find out that the free and sleek UK economy out of their control thrives ! the USA (like Trump or not !) is absolutely BOOMING ! Staying in the EU will have us miss the boat ! India, Pakistan and rest of Asia are moving into the 21st Century with business, engineering and building projects - EU will be small fry compared to what is emerging out there and we have the nous to get in on this given the chance !

I am sorry to say that some of you out there have led too sheltered lives and cannot think outside the box and full of worries that stifle our ability to grow strong.

What a total shame !!

Again I say to all, are we men to "Boldly GO" or are we mice waiting for the EU to feed us scraps of cheese !

I.ve just been Watching Trump and May outside Chequers and Trump calls everything how he sees it and is not afraid to speak out what most people think anyway. Like him or not, he is our best hope for us and for the rest of the world to sort out all world issues. That press interview in my mind was absolutely brilliant and all those "Labour" (a la Sadiq Khan !) driven protesters in London should hang their heads in shame in trying to ridicule Trump - he is our best shot by a country mile to get this world sorted out !!

I'm intrigued by your comparison to Trump who you feel is the way forward for the world. He operates on a do as I say and not as I do attitude. This makes negotiating trade deal with him very difficult unless your happy to accept ALL of his terms. According to figures o Breakfast News this week, the UK has an annual trading surplus of £40bn with the US and good old Donald doesn't like it. He wants to change that to a more equal trading deal that will only benefit the US.

I find it strange that the collective agreements with the EU are viewed as being dictated to yet the bully boy Trump isn't a dictator????

A close, productive working relationship with Europe brings huge reward for this country. The collective bargaining tool of the EU also prevents us from being dictated to by the likes of Trump. The reason so many world nations are suggesting a willingness to talk to us about trade is because they can drive a harder bargain for the goods we WANT off them.

Yes, we can go out and sell to the world but it is likely to come at a hefty price.

This is not me being a negative, remoaning, loony left but a realism of the economics involved.

The UK does 18% trade with the USA and here we have over 100,000 Labour led protesters giving it large in London ! You are right about the 40B trade surplus we have with the USA, so why have we got these yo yo's protesting ? They have not got a scooby doo !! Talking about kicking a gift horse in the mouth - that takes the biscuit !

I know which side I would be on and it aint the EU riven with bankrupt countries which our large donation keeps bailing them out ! Who's the idiots here ?? Huge reward ? It's costing us £350M a week soon set to go up ! give me a break !

Trump is now standing up to the vast differentials that they pay to NATO and the obscene Tariffs they have to swallow for their cars going into the EU while the EU are much less going the other way etc - I do not blame him ! If you say that is bullying, I don't ! He is being shrewd and business like for a much fairer deal than what the American people have been getting for so many years !

The world has been taking the mick out of America for years be it the EU or China - He says what he sees and thinks and that's being honest - If you look at his Chequers press interview today and take it in, he isn't the bully boy you think he is - he wants fair play, fair trade and would even push for free trade all over - That's what he said !

Just because he is ruffling feathers it's been a long time coming as we are sleepwalking into total disaster ! He's right about Germany in hock to Russia over the Gas Pipeline pumping billions into their economy - why aren't Germany striking a deal with Norway as they have plenty !

Obama said if we go ahead with Brexit we would be at the back of the queue ! Contrast that with Trump today wanting a bigger trade and special relationship - now who is the elephant in the room ? It aint Trump ! and here we have all these Labour led protesters in London childishly flying an [Cut out the swearing] Blimp !! Brain Dead Labour people !!

Yes Trump is marmite on what he says - at least he gets people talking and responding and starting to think with his shock statements and tweets which are best of times controversial - that's the way he is but you can't take away the fact that he has got the American economy booming with huge job creation. At least they won't be following a Labour "songs of praise" advocated Venezuela model - look what's happened there ! Braindead Labour !

The Labour leader wants Brexit and is pushing for it. And he's right to. People voted for it, so it should be delivered.

So I'm not sure how the protests are 'Labour led'?

Funny that about the Trump protests not being Labour led - you will see Corbyn’s mugshot at those very same protests in London in the newspapers tomorrow ! All might I add mainly arranged and orchestrated by that disgraceful Labour London mayor.

And that smug faced Emily Thornburry criticising May for Trump taking hold of her hand - that is about the standard of childishness along with that Labour Mayor driven Blimp which just about sums up the calibre of Labour’s in its cat calling childishness ! Like kids in a Playground - is that really who you want running this country !

I thought you meant protests over Brexit were Labour led.

I assume Corbyn disagrees with the Trump philosophy of 'bomb first, investigate later'.

It can’t be that, he was friends with the IRA when they were bombing innocent men, women and children

At roughly the same time in history as the USA and the United Kingdom supported the Mujahideen in Afghanistan.

Funny ol' world innit?

nice try but the fact remains Corbyn and McDonnell have a long history of supporting our enemies. Do you hate your country as much as they do, if not why support them.

It probably explains why them and their kind hate Trump... he’s a patriot who puts the interest of his country first.

Can you update the board as to how Venezuela are getting on by the way?

BTW everyone, you see there how WF10 tried to legitimise supporting the bombing of our own citizens because we supported a group in Afghanistan against the invading Soviet army. Typical leftist reasoning

Ye so if you can just point out exactly where I did that please? Or you can just make stuff up that suits your agenda.

Typical right wing reasoning ;)

I have no need, your comment and the context in which it was written is there to see.

I’m still waiting to hear how Venezuela is getting on, are their citizens still eating their pets to survive? This was the economic and social utopia that Corbyn and McDonnell wanted to create in our country. Please update.

Poor old Capper trying to lecture us on how bad Brexit will be for our economy at the same time as hankering for a Corbyn led government :D
